I presented creative entanglements between my research and activist work regarding the contested cities of Cyprus. I use practice as a method to produce knowledge and to support urban subjectivities, through the development of social skills that encourage to address complexity and difference in urban everyday life, dominated by simplistic divisive hegemonic narratives. I develop three frames of commoning practice in which the activist projects I present, mediate for: countermapping, creating thresholds, introducing urban controversies.
